  1. Well, that's a reasonable explanation as to why Israel's getting so much support, because the West's involvement in it has been angering me a lot......Play ball or we'll decimate you. Not very nice! I visited the Dead Sea and Mount Massada in the mid-90's, having read about the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. There are some fascinating stories (history) about that part of the world, and ancient Egypt also enthralled my interest since my school days. The most common factor throughout history is the countless wars we've inflicted on each other, and it seems we haven't learnt an iota from them all - except how to cause even more death and destruction. I'm glad I'm 73 now, because nothing's going to change until we've completely obliterated ourselves.
