  2. I've never been an avid TV watcher, so at most of the places I've lived in over the years, I never even had a TV. In early 2000, I was given a TV, but rarely switched it on even though I was paying for the licence. By 2009, I decided that paying all that money for nothing was a terrible waste, so I got rid of the TV. I didn't miss it one bit. Since I started using the internet in 2013, I can at least choose what I wish to view, and I never watch or subscribe to anything to do with the BBC.

  5. Yes, I wondered about that, too, but as soon as I had made my comment and refreshed the screen, all the comments showed up. Does one have to make a comment on here before being able to read the other ones? Odd.
