I hesitated about listening to your take on this matter, not because I've already seen some of the news reports, but because it riles me to even think about what these scum "refugees" are being allowed to get away with.....all at our massive expense. I've now got to the stage where I can't wait until the public, en masse, get out on the streets and start emptying well over 400 hotels of their unwanted "guests". I may be 72 now, but I can still walk, run, and hold a pitchfork. Stay well, my friend.

  9. That's a very appropriate question which, sadly, is taking far too long to be implemented. Unfortunately, there are already a lot of lazy scroungers in the UK, who wouldn't do anything for free. Also, it would take someone with real determination (and finances) to create a large group of people to act accordingly to this dreadful state of affairs. Where are they? I wish I could answer that, because I'm ready and waiting for civil war to commence.

I'm a woman of 72 who lives alone in my small one-bedroom flat in Yorkshire, and I have my crowbar at the ready. Having arrived in the UK from Dublin at the age of 22 in 1973, and worked all my life (retired at 63), I'm not leaving this world quietly. Stay safe and well, wherever you are.

  16. There are well over 400 hotels which should be permanently boycotted because of their betrayal to their communities. Not only that, but they've made it worse for those hotel owners who stuck to their guns and refused to house those scum.

  17. Those were the days, Bob. I remember them well. I don't know about you, but the idea of staying in a 3, 4, or 5 star hotel for free, with free meals and spending money, plus a free mobile, sounds like a dream come true to those who are living out on the street. I'm glad I'm 72 and won't be around for that much longer. Stay and well, wherever you are.
