  1. A few years ago, an American made a comment on a YT channel, saying "Oh, I thought Europe was just one country, and didn't know there were so many different countries there!" True!!! When I read it, part of me wasn't surprised, and the rest of me just raised my eyebrows and cringed in disbelief. It stuck in my mind because of the ignorance displayed. I'm 71, and I remember my father telling me during the 1960's that the world will eventually be full of coffee-coloured people. Being in my mid-teens, I didn't understand what he meant. RIP, Dad, you were right.
