Oh yes! I loved Kilburn and The Highroads, and used to see them play at Dingwall's in Camden.

@ellenthibeault3940 Oh, don't be envious, Ellen. Through life, we all get a chance to see something or someone of great creativity, so your turn will come. I'm 71 now, and have great memories of the 60's, 70's and 80's. Take care, wherever you are. Patricia.😊
2
@ellenthibeault3940 Just a suggestion, Ellen. I think you should edit your last reply by removing your DOB. It's not safe to give too much of your personal information online, especially as your full name is there as well. I hope you don't mind me saying that. Take care.
2
That's good! Accept yourself as you are, and you will always be content with life.😊

Well said. Libya and its people were thriving whilst under Gaddafi. Now, it's just a lawless wasteland. Well done, US warmongers!!
2
You're spot on, Ethan. Stay safe and well, wherever you are.
1
@PantheraKitty Hello, Paul. I've just made a comment to you, but it seems to have disappeared. Can you tell me if you can see it, please? Thanks, Patricia.

@sylverscale The Convid jabs were never fully approved by the appropriate medical associations, nor were they tested for anywhere near long enough. They were rushed out well before the standard trial period time frame. Facts.
1
@fructosecornsyrup5759 Some people don't like the fact that America has been anything but pure throughout its history, unfortunately.
1
@asiderealday Who are you asking that question to, Joseph?
1
@sylverscale I agree, but if you think about the sick brainwashing that's now going on with children being encouraged to think seriously about changing their gender, there's a fine line somewhere in there. Having to go through major surgery and chemical medications, and then find out ten or twenty years later that it's not what you thought it was (which has happened to many transgenders), is not something which should be encouraged to undeveloped minds. If anything, our societies are getting worse and far more dangerous when it comes to what seems to be acceptable in today's world. Stay safe and well, wherever you are.

As if.

This was literally a war with the worst conditions by far. Here's a list of some of them..... Artillery barrages could last for hours with the noise so loud and constant that it sounds like your ear is right up to the engine of a jumbo jet while you're rattled to your teeth by the concussions. Being constantly surrounded by the rotting corpses of your friends while witnessing rats eat their bodies, with the rats also spreading disease, biting soldiers, and stealing soldiers' food. Knowing that you're just waiting at any moment to be called to perform a massive suicidal charge directly into enemy machine guns and artillery fire. The fact that the trenches would at many times be filled with rancid parasite-infested stagnant water after it rains from the corpses and human excrement soaking in the it which spread illness and disease. Also don't forget about the Spanish Flu that was running rampant which caused the deaths of more soldiers than the war itself. The governments purposely hid the severe news of the outbreak from the soldiers to prevent if from negatively impacting morale. Then there's also the constant fear of gas attacks which would cause an excruciating death that would always have you on edge with your gas masks ready. Many soldiers in the British army had no luxuries such as cots or bunkers like the Germans had. The British soldiers literally just slept on the muddy dirt in the trenches or maybe on top of some boxes/gear. Lastly, "the thundering boom of an exploding shell" is a massive understatement. And finally, unlike WW2, many soldiers were not treated as heroes after returning home due to many of them having PTSD or developing other mental illness. Employers would purposely hang signs outside their establishments saying thinks like "Now Hiring - No Veterans." Nobody in the civilian world had any conception of what these soldiers went through, which further added to their sense of isolation and sense of being unappreciated and misunderstood.

@jillwanlin9558 @patrickdinallo3975 did not say what you're accusing him of. You need to reread his words.😉

Many people find it far too easy to point their finger, but how many of them actually DO something to help?
1
Far, far from it!!
1
It may seem that way right now, but I'm afraid the future is going to be far worse.
1
@@motherofducks1594 Woke? YUK!! No, I can't stand the woke brigade. Pollution is very destructive, but it's certainly not the only concern we should have about the future of our world, even though you seem to think everything else is okay. Ignorance is not bliss, and you're in for a very rude awakening.
1
@@motherofducks1594 On the contrary, you should reread what I said, because I never said I was afraid of the "woke" boogeyman, nor did I say that I think all human life will cease to be.
1
@@motherofducks1594 Right, I've had enough of your nonsense and false accusations. I have never "complained" about the woke brigade, and I'm certainly not afraid of it, either. I just don't like it. As for answering your question, I clarified that you had misunderstood my comment. End of story, so go and find someone else to pester.
1
@Sputterbug I agree with both of your comments on here. There are many valid and justifiable reasons for both abortion and euthanasia (which I won't bother listing here, because we all know what they are), and are far more humane than any of the wars being created by the US and other countries.
1
@MrCmon113 Strange as it may seem to you, I'm not as ignorant as you are.
1
@Coastal_Cruzer Processed foods, fake vaccines, fake wars.....................................................it's endless.
1
DISTURBAN At 2:16 you mention the "Benthal Green" gang in London.....it BETHnal Green.
1
Well said. Stay well.

Yes, Threads was (and still is) an amazing movie. I saved it after watching it for the first time, and have recently watched it again. I'd put the link on here if I didn't think it would be removed by the YT demon.
1
@Jay-Bee_NUFC Instant annihilation would be most preferable, yes. That aside, stay safe and well, wherever you are.

Aha! I commented about that, too, but hadn't read the comments yet. The Two Towers were far more of a disaster than first assumed. Stay well.
1
The Vietnam war turned me against the US forever, and I know I made the right decision by everything it has done since then.
1
Unfortunately for many, history is still continuing to repeat itself, due to greed for power and money. It took 50 years for the Thalidomide scandal to be fully addressed, but it will take far far longer for the Convid one to even be acknowledged, if ever. Stay safe and well, wherever you are.

If you ever think you're having a bad day, just remind yourself of the hell that many other people live in, and for much longer than a mere 24 hours..... That was not only a grotesque and prolonged unimaginable form of torture, it was a permanent sentence to an agonising existence of pain and disability. There was certainly nothing attractive about it in any manner, and it amazes me that it took until the end of the 20th century before it was finally banned. Thank you for educating us, Disturban, especially as I thought that this practice had been laid to rest way back in history. It's good to learn something new every day.
1
Terrifying!!! Until now, I thought Anthrax was a manufactured chemical. Thanks, Disturban!
1
@spencereagle1118 The imprint of one of the planes that hit the two towers was clearly visible before their collapse.
1
The Vietnam war was an abominable, unnecessary, and fruitless war created by the monstrous US government. Because of that, I turned my back on that country forever. I'm 70 now, and I'll never forgive them for what they did.
1
What is "bbls", please?
1
It's just an example of how the human brain actually works.
1
I wish you were right about that but, unfortunately, the human race is (and always has been) its own worst enemy. Civilisation is now in the throes of total self-destruct, but many choose to ignore that fact.
1
We all reach that conclusion...................eventually.
1
A very profound statement, thank you!
1
Well said, Victor, and very true. Warmongering is an extremely profitable business to that murdering country!
1
Precisely so, Machete Freddy! Unfortunately, the powers that be have no interest in the soldiers they send out to war, to kill, die, or be maimed for life. War is big money, and the US particularly knows that, but the public are brainwashed into thinking it's all about morals. No, it has nothing to do with the benefits of humankind, only the benefits of the oligarch's bank accounts.
1
Good for her, and more people should especially take the same stance in the present day. I'm 72 and, three years ago, I told my doctor where to stuff the jab.....politely. Stay safe and well, wherever you are.
1
@misstinahamilton5714 Hello, Tina. I had already replied to your comment about two hours ago, but I now see it has been removed. Obviously, this platform didn't like what I had to say, all of which was very polite and factual. That alone, should tell you something, as it certainly tells me that what I said is very true. Stay well.
1
Keep things in perspective, Seam2237. There's nothing to be scared of.............except yourself.
1
I made a similar comment on another OP's comment.
1
Maybe it's because they also say things like "aloominum" for aluminium, or "aks" or ask.....uneducated and ignorant.
