  11. Whoever made the original quotation that "ignorance is bliss" must have either been too ignorant to realise the polarity of that, or they were just being very sarcastic. Americans seem to be so insular that they've actually imploded on themselves. No wonder the US is such a sh!thole. As for grammar, punctuation and spelling, it's not surprising that at least 50% of them don't know how to read or write properly. The more you have, the more you have to lose, and that particularly includes morals and discipline. The US is in the throes of its own destruction, and very few of them seem to care about that, or their future, yet they're the very ones who mostly feel sorry for themselves, and claim to be the best country in the world. We are all the masters of our own destiny and, unless we take responsibility for that, the finger-pointing will continue without any true progress. Self-defeatists only get what they deserve.

However, society in general has now reached a point where it's unable to tell the difference, mainly by choice, but also due to fear. The only one who should be controlling your mind is yourself. Inner peace is worth more than anything else.

  23.  @Demoralisd  Your main comment came to my mind, too, as AI will be capable of exposing all facts of reality - something which the US government must fear a great deal. Your second comment is very possibly true about UFOs being controlled by AI systems, but quantum physics could likely do away with distance travel. Whatever happens from today onwards, one thing is for sure.....Us humans are doing a very good job at destroying our planet and all life on it, so I don't think we need to worry too much about aliens when we happen to be our own worst enemy.
