De-funding the police does NOT mean de-funding law and order. Indeed, it means de-funding lawlessness amongst those who hide behind the Badge to commit crimes. Don't be tricked into continuing to support a broken system!

Stop toppling their government and steal their livelihoods and they magically remain in their own country. It is THAT simple!

Thomas, How did SO MANY people became the "trash class" in the first place? Why weren't there THAT many years ago? Why so many now?

@cherylpatton1977 Yep, but it's more than that. Many Americans did lose their homes and became impoverished due to the 2008 housing crash but what happened after that caused EVEN MORE to be out in the streets. Remember when the crash happened, banks had no more money to lend anyone to buy homes. Home sales drive our economy so it tanked. To stimulate it, they began selling homes to foreign buyers, mostly Chinese (who paid cash therefore they did not need a mortgage). It became a frenzy as foreign Chinese bought homes in America and drove up prices beyond affordability for local Americans. THAT is what caused so many more Americans to be forced into the streets. Bottom line: NONE of the cause of such MASSIVE homelessness was the fault of the "trash class" that Thomas accused people of. Indeed, the "trash class" was created by outrageous home prices driven by foreign buyers. But Thomas doesn't understand that. Like most people, he only sees the here and now.....and the here and now shows filthy homeless people everywhere so he hates it and blames it on politicians.....and the homeless themselves.

Not in my back yard (NIMBY). Then they go to another backyard. NIMBY - go away! Then they go into another backyard. NIMBY - go away! Repeat... Etc, etc,.....

How would you solve the real estate affordability problem (which directly results in today's enormous homelessness)? If no one can afford to live in an area but the rich, who's going to remain there to be teachers, police officers, waiters, small shop owners, and all the labor jobs to serve the rich? Homes are for living in, NOT as investment vehicles. You may have profited from real estate and think it's OK but don't complain about homeless people camping in front of your house and defecating everywhere.
