This next economic downturn will humble a lot of people. In the Great Recession of 2008, I personally met a couple of CEOs who had to deliver Pizzas to make ends meet. I met many former millionaires who lost it all. Robert Kiosaki of Rich Dad fame also said money makes you feel smart which blinds you into making mistakes.

Finally, a millionaire who understands why you can't leave the little people behind because you already got yours. His $20 million house is now worth over $40 million is NOT good news for him and his family because that means their surrounding neighborhoods will fall into poverty and crime - which affects his and his family's safety. It's good to be rich, but if the wealth gap is too wide, the rich will also suffer.

The Democrats rise was a direct result of moving all good-paying manufacturing jobs overseas 30 years ago. With nothing but low-paying service jobs left, ordinary Americans could not make ends meet. Then they demand higher pay and government help. And so they voted Democrat thinking that it will help their condition. Instead, it got worse as America became a Communist State. Now people realize all their basic rights such as personal safety have been taken away, yet their economic condition did not improve but even got worse. That is why they switched to voting for Trump.

If you look at the U.S. as a nation and how it treats all other nations in the world, the U.S. is a narcissist SOB. That attitude permeates American society and what do you see as the result of that - massive homelessness, high divorce rate ("cause I'm not happy - me, me, me..."), school shootings, road rage, etc. You don't have to be selfish in order to achieve high - look at Kobe Bryant. He point blank said, "It ain't about me!" And that if he thinks about himself during a game, he would miss a shot every single time. That is why he only cares about other people - his fans, his family, his community, etc and what he can do to improve their lives.

It's always good to recognize hard-working people via a large tip - they deserve it. But you can still publicize them to inspire others to do the same yet not reveal who you are.

So the average time a reserve currency lasts is 95 years. Only one lasted the longest at 110 (Spain). Most are around 90 years, give or take. So, at 79 years, the U.S. Dollar's days are numbered.

Notice that all 6 global currencies in history belong to Western countries. China was once the richest country on earth, how come they didn't try to make their currency the Global Reserve Currency? Could it be that Chinese mindset was never about global conquest? If so, then today's Chinese currency should be the Global Reserve Currency. China doesn't have a history of subverting the world like Western nations do.

This goes for most if not all US corporations. They sold us out beginning in the 1990's when they moved all their factories to China and marketed it as "Globalization". The Chinese people became rich while we Americans became poor. Now they demonize China and want war - WTF!

@firstname lastname Yep, around that time. But replacing it with another nation's currency will just repeat the monopoly and global conquest by one nation - same shit, different Empire! This is why Putin suggested that the next Reserve Currency should be based on a basket of strong currencies PLUS commodities such as precious metals and other valuable natural resources. That way, no single nation can hold everyone hostage. AND no collapse of one or two nations could affect the Reserve currency value. Looks like BRICS (led by Russia and China) is trying to do just that. Humanity needs to smarten up and not allow any more global conquests by one powerful country.

Define "smart". A dolphin has a brain that is as proportionally big as a human brain. How come we don't see any dolphins attending Harvard? My point is just because one can get accepted into Harvard, doesn't mean they are smart. Smart is just the ability to maximize the environment you are in.
