Ukraine claimed a lot of things that turned out to be lies. Like their big brother, the U.S., the only thing they are really good at is Rambo Propaganda News because they already lost the war.

You forgot one other thing that prevents lasers from being effective against hypersonic missiles: Hypersonic missiles cannot be tracked in order to focus that laser beam onto it. Becausr hypersonics fly so fast, they produce plasma around their skin that absorb and/or scatter any electromagnetic waves (like radar waves) hitting them. So, not only the laser beam will be scattered, the radar beam tracking them will be scattered also. Bottom line: Right now, NOTHING could stop hypersonic missiles!

These are the same people who grossly underestimated Russia's military punch in Ukraine. If U.S. weaponry is so superior, 11 months of supplying Ukraine with over $100 billion worth of weapons would've kicked Russian forces out of Ukraine already. There is no magic bullet in war. All this showcase of high-tech weaponry is just marketing hype of the military industrial complex. I seriously doubt the U.S. could stop China from taking Taiwan.

Not think, is it not a fact that the F-16 could carry nukes? And do you think for a micro-second that the U.S. won't give Ukraine tactical nukes to mount on those F-16's???? The U.S. JUST GAVE the green light for Ukraine to launch U.S. missiles into mainland Russia. What does that tell you?

@pmayo7894 I am not arguing with that. Anyone with half a brain knows that those nuke-carrying F-16's won't even get into the air with superior Russian air defense systems shooting them down like flies. I simply said that the U.S.often talks out of both sides of its mouth. It denies that the F-16 could carry nukes so that it will send Ukraine nukes.

All INDEPENDENT U.S. military analysts including U.S. military Colonels, ex-CIA agents, Columbia University Economic Professor, and even a U.S. Ambassador said Russia now has the most powerful ground forces. So powerful that the WEST'S OWN former Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Sir Richard Shirreff said: "NATO is not prepared for war with Russia." Yep, the guy who commanded NATO troops said that!!!

@pmayo7894 Look up what U.S. Ambassador to the Soviet Union (Jack Matlock) warned way back in 1990 about what would happen if NATO expanded. Look up all the times in the last 20 years when Putin came to the U.S. to meet with President W Bush and what he asked Bush. Like so many people, you have no clue what transpired long before Putin invaded. All you see is the here and now and you repeat verbatim what mainstream media said.

What makes our government think that a 6th Generation Fighter would be any cheaper than the 22 to produce, maintained, and flown? Cheaper cost is a bullshit justification to replace the 22. Real reason: China and Russia had caught up and may even exceeded the capability of the F-22 with their J-20 and SU-57 respectively. That is why we MUST come up with an even better Fighter than the F-22. Tell the truth!

Yeah but it was Iran that launched 181 missiles into Israel on Oct 1st. Yet, the US went after the little guys. Iran now has Russian hypersonic missiles and air defense - the same ones the US can't stop in Ukraine. Let's see how BOTH sides fare in the upcoming response against Iran.

How can you claim that China copied U.S. fighters when the J-20 is a canard (tail first) while all U.S. fighters are of conventional planform?
