  1. Tesla is the only car maker that profits from EV's.....to the tune of $9k per car. To give you an idea, Toyota only makes an average of $1,200 per car they sold, including ICE cars. Ford loses $58k per Mustang Mach E they sell (look it up!) This is why companies are mounting a campaign against EV's. They can't make money!
