Would any of this happen if NATO had disbanded in 1991 when the Soviets disintegrated? Get rid the world of ALL military alliances of ANY KIND!

@kaizenpsy8259 I don't see any big country doing that except the U.S. Empire in alliance with other countries. Since World War II, during a supposed golden age of peace, the United States military has killed or helped kill some 20 million people, overthrown at least 36 governments, interfered in at least 85 foreign elections, attempted to assassinate over 50 foreign leaders, and dropped bombs on people in over 30 countries. The United States is responsible for the deaths of 5 million people in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, and over 1 million just since 2003 in Iraq. Look it up!

@kaizenpsy8259 That's rhetoric from the U.S. Empire. Whatever you argue, the bottom line still remains that the U.S. killed more people than any so-called "Totalitarian Regimes". Indeed, Russia invaded Ukraine PRECISELY because of NATO expansion. Regarding China, $5.3 trillion dollars worth of goods moves through the South China Sea every year. That is why the U.S. gets involved. Why didn't the U.S. get involved in Tibet if China also bullied them? Answer: no money! You fell for the old U.S. rhetoric of "Military alliance keeps the peace". The evidence is quite opposite!
