Russians have an intelligent and powerful speaker as their president . Imagine the pride a citizen must have in a leader who can perform his duties with such finesse and knowledge. The fact that he doesn’t have dementia must be a big asset to him as well.

@Dadalux when your dollar buys half as much as it did before this “war” it’s devalued by 50% . It’s basic math , genius . How’s the Ruble done in the same time period? Pretty damned good . Russia played a bad hand to perfection and now will rake the pot this winter. Not only did the US taxpayer pay billions in wasted weapons but at the same time his savings became worth half . @axelfoley1812 how do you know what he wants? Or what he does? You are told and you believe. The not so difficult work of looking into a problem is to verify the facts first. Laziness is not an asset , do the bare minimum of fact checking and then enter the discussion as an informed contributor . Ignorant people don’t turn tides. My admiration of Putin is rooted in his high level of intelligence. He needed to be smart to forward himself and there is no shame in acknowledging a man’s accomplishments or his shortcomings. Please don’t assume one and ignore the other.

Believing in a fairytale is comforting and absolves you of the responsibility to investigate what is being propagated.
