  1. The green line extension has accomplished its goal of creating unbridled development opportunities. The fact it was built incorrectly ( rail lines installed at wrong spacing ) , that it runs at a snail’s pace , that all other lines desperately need repair, and that the Union Square spur line baffles urban transit designers is irrelevant. The taxpayers are along for the ride and in March the T begins another line extension which it can’t afford or operate effectively. Happy travels
