@lorip7527 Food is cheaper than the midwest. Housing is expensive because everyone wants to live there. That's a credit to desantis.

@timothybrandriff6499 "Learn how our system of government works before you comment, foreigner " But isn't that the same thing that your mother said to you?

not an argument.

@ "hilarious" But isn't that the same thing that your mother said about you?

not gestapo, KGB

@ "Mother jokes, seriously?!!" But isn't that the same thing that your father asked you?
3
"So why are his approval ratings nosediving?" But isn't that the same thing that your mother asked about you?

@WarrenHolly "Number one he is nobody's president. He's a out of work failed tv game show host. Remember that. He still has on the makeup for God's sake" But isn't that the same thing that your mother said about you?

@gen_z_hippichikk Not correct. Many people on government benefits need higher pay in order to justify working. The pay has to exceed the welfare benefits.
2
@gen_z_hippichikk Incorrect. Inflation is the expansion of the money supply.
2
@gen_z_hippichikk Not an argument. Questions are not arguments. Asking me whether something was "supposed" to happen is not an argument.
2
@gen_z_hippichikk Inflation is the increase of the money supply, so what you're asking me to explain is a contradiction. Prices do not "inflate". Prices go up or down.
2
@gen_z_hippichikk Not correct, questions are not arguments. Asking me a question and then answering it yourself is also not an argument.
2
@gen_z_hippichikk Claiming that something "evolves" is not an argument. There is a reason they teach english and etymology in school. If left to themselves, people will corrupt the proper function of the language. The reason we can communicate online is because the definitions of words are fixed. We are communicating in English because that's the language we speak, not because English has been "redeployed".
2
@gen_z_hippichikk Not correct. One of the effects of inflation, is that prices could be prevented from decreasing when they otherwise would have. That is an effect of inflation that doesn't involve rising prices. Therefore, it is proven that rising prices is not the definition of inflation, but only one of the possible consequences.
2
@gen_z_hippichikk There are multiple dictionaries, and multiple definitions in each dictionary, some of which agree with you and some with me. But the reality of the situation is that you cannot deal with the argument I just made.
2
@gen_z_hippichikk No government agency is nonpartisan when it comes to inflation. They do not want the public to understand that inflation is done by the government alone. Their paychecks depend on it.
2
@gen_z_hippichikk "Your magical powers of ESP are not admissible in any court, and are also summarily dismissed here." But isn't that the same thing that your mother said to you? Your definition has been proven to be incorrect, yet you cling to it like your life depends on it.
2
@gen_z_hippichikk "Try again." But isn't that the same thing that your mother said to you? You admitted that you can't deal with the argument.
2
@gen_z_hippichikk Claiming that something was "dealt with" is not an argument. Claiming that something does not "vindicate" is not an argument. Claiming that someone is "pretending" something, is not an argument.
2
@gen_z_hippichikk Claiming that something is a "fact" is not an argument.
2
@ "Jeez, you guys are like children." But isn't that the same thing that your mother said to you?

@gen_z_hippichikk Too bad. Not every job needs to be filled. If it's really necessary, then they can increase the pay until someone takes the job.

@gen_z_hippichikk Claiming that something is "normal" is not an argument. Etymology is Latin, inflatus, to blow into, or to puff up. To "inflate" a balloon means to pump gas or liquid into it. The word has been incorrectly applied to one of the effects of inflation, rather than to the cause. In the same way that, the word "cool" will always mean "not hot", 100 million illiterates notwithstanding.

@gen_z_hippichikk Claiming that I "might" have had something is not an argument.
1
@gen_z_hippichikk You were given the facts, and you were not ready. The fact is, that one of the effects of inflation is to prevent prices from going down, when they otherwise would have. Therefore, the definition of inflation is not rising prices.
1
@gen_z_hippichikk "Try again." But isn't that the same thing that your mother said to you? The definition remains exactly what it is, and what it has been. But not what you think it is.
1
@gen_z_hippichikk If prices decrease or stay the same, that is not inflation according to your definition, but that is not correct.
1
@gen_z_hippichikk Claiming that I am "wrong" is not an argument. "there is only THE definition," Totally incorrect. Every dictionary that I've looked as has multiple definitions of the word.
1
@gen_z_hippichikk One of the effects of inflation is to prevent prices from going down. Therefore, the definition you are using is incorrect.
1
@gen_z_hippichikk If prices stay the same, and do not rise, then by your definition, there is no inflation. If a price is not rising, then you cannot say at the same time that it is rising. Therefore, your definition is not correct.
1
@gen_z_hippichikk Still not an argument. "you're wrong" is not an argument.
1
@gen_z_hippichikk I have deleted nothing. Youtube deletes my comments, as it does for many people.

If there is an invading army in the cities, then the military would be justified to go into the cities. I would argue that illegal migrants are an invasion.
