I disagree with the notion that Israel would allow Iran to lob missiles at them and then just return the favor. Warhead/payload is not easily inferred from a missile trajectory; a non-conventional weapons strike on Israel by Iran would have profound political consequences both internally to Israel and on the global stage. The old adage from the first gulf war, “you go chemical and I go nuclear” applies here and is the primary reason why I believe Iran will not fire any missiles at Israel. Israel would have no way of knowing whether the missile inbound to Tel Aviv is conventional or not, and would have to respond under the assumption it is non-conventional. I believe Iran knows this full well, and is why they have not done it, despite the verbal promises to Hamas they made to “jump in” to the conflict.

That was still not okay. Telling any American president "You will feel it" in that tone is not acceptable. That was the moment everything fell apart, and Zelensky owns that.

@Nathan-jh1ho Why not just go with newer Russian or Chinese or French helicopters? Wouldn't it have been easier?

@vincentk3502 You do not let someone "explain" themselves after a statement like that. Zelensky knew perfectly well what he was saying, he is not some teenager who gets a chance at redemption after speaking rudely. He went in there unprepared and from the looks of things was not treating it as seriously as he should have.

@ashapuhin72 The American taxpayers are out of money. Nobody want to pay for this crap anymore. In fact, we want the IRS to be abolished.

Who made that word, and what right did they have to place an unasked for debt on future generations of Americans? Furthermore, what obligation do newly elected Presidents have to obey the policies of previous administrations? Elections are not simply about choosing a new leader. They are a referendum on the policies being offered by the competing candidates. We did not simply choose Trump for President on 11/5/2024, we chose all the things he annunciated in the run up. It is not his fault or the voters fault if those things are in conflict with leaders of the past.

@jetty92487 I'm sorry, but from my perspective Zelensky was a horrible negotiator. He failed miserably, plain and simple.

Is Assad still alive? There are rumors that he was on a plane that went down last night.

China nuking the USA would not provide any future gain, as its trade would forever be ruined and its major industrial centers would be destroyed in a counterattack. China nuking Russia after Russia nuked the UK would put them in good standing with the west and all but ensure the acquisition of Russian lands and assets east of the Urals, to which nobody else in the world would complain about.

@uncletiggermclaren7592 Obesity is primarily a minority phenomenon in the US. There is a really good reason why McAllen, TX has been called the obesity epicenter of the US. Look at the location and what is next door.

@divinewind6313 What you just said will BANKRUPT the EU. Or start riots when the citizens of the EU discover they have to pay even higher taxes and send their kids to Ukraine. Do you understand how they were able to get those fancy healthcare programs and high speed trains in the first place?

@choccolocco What pain?

@vincentk3502 Yes, but who was appealing to who there? Zelensky was there to change attitudes and win a deal, and he failed. Stop blaming Trump and Vance because they had to temerity to call into question whether the deal was really worth it or not. The US is NOT obligated to assist when Europe won't help out, and do not wave the 1994 agreement in the air because no administration has ever been obliged to follow through on the promises of a previous one, particularly one as foolish as what Clinton signed in 1994.

@lukasvlk8432 With all due respect, the "you will feel it too" scam has been run multiple times throughout the last 70 years, right up there with the "fight them over there so we don't have to fight them here" confidence scheme. The difference now is that we have skeptics looking at it, and they are not falling for the tired old threats. As far as rudeness, those with gentle ears will always complain of rudeness when they hear something that offends their perception of reality. That should not dissuade anyone from speaking the truth.

@coolbugfacts1234 You get $100 a post? BS. You lie.

@ The appeal to humanity has to be agreed upon mutually in order for it to work. Based on Starmer's and the EU's actions in the last 24 hours, I believe that appeal is dead.

Gee Ryan, are you slowly turning into Michael Moore?

Glad to see someone calling JH out on his lies, Ryan. He has been spouting garbage for years now and has gotten away with spreading misinformation on all sorts of subjects that he claims to have "expertise" on by doing "research."

OK, do you feel like fighting for the Poles or Ukrainians or Germans then?

So, is it the fault of the U.K.?
