The whole training data thing is nonsense because one could ask any artist what their “training data” was as inspiration for their work, then scream copyright infringement.

@julesnonconformist Just thought of something related to this. Many wealthy people like to invest in works of art, but where does the value come from and how is really determined? Bing AI is creating eclectic works of art like crazy every day, but somehow it has no value. If I hand copied a painting that Bing made or built a robot to do it, and tried to sell it at an auction, would it have value then? Art investments seems like a con job to me.
