  1.  @commentorsilensor3734  Buses are for minorities. This is an irrefutable fact of life in the US; visit any Greyhound or local mass transit system and examine the ridership and it will become very apparent where the distaste comes from. HSR would be no different and the problem of access would ruin it from the start.
