  6. Which is why in retrospect, Germany should not have been allowed to reestablish itself. France, UK and the US should had every right to annex their respective portions agreed upon at Yalta, but FDR was too wuss to agree with Churchill about it. If the US did not use nuclear weapons to force a quick Japanese surrender and the US lost massive casualties in an invasion, Japan would not exist today as anything other than a US territory or state. Prior to December of 1941, most Americans were pro Hitler and didn’t care what happened to a country that wouldn’t let an American divorcée become part of their royal family. (It mattered)

  7. Canada and Australia were in WW2 earlier because they were obliged to assist the UK. The US was not and most of its population was pro Hitler until 1941.
