  1. Anthonette Morehead That’s actually a really sound argument. If abortion is defined is the act of terminating an embryo or fetus, that by default indicates it is alive and that abortion is the act that destroys a living entity. It is killing. The counter argument will be that it is not sentient life, much like a plant is not intelligent so destroying it is no crime. But given time, the fetus will become self aware. So in a way, abortion is a race against time and inconvenience to the unwilling mother.
