  2. @ I would like you to be right. But given Europe's history, I have little faith. That continent has a history written in human blood, and the only reason there has not been major conflict there since the end of WW2 is because an outside power took the reins. Let us see what happens when those reins are let go of.

  6. @ I can't see Trump pulling out now. Zelensky is starting to agree to the minerals plan, which gives Trump what he wants and all the reason to stay. The bigger question is whether the EU is going to now get off their butts and create a pan-European army.
