NATO and affiliated nations maintain the sanctions and ban Russian energy products from purchase, squeezing the rouble even harder. China tries to walk between the two while spouting anti American rhetoric, which causes Biden to lose the mid terms becoming a lame duck. 2024 comes around, the sanctions are still on and Trump wins the election and takes revenge on China by cutting off all trade, effectively crashing not just the Chinese economy but the world economy as well while nationalizing key industries in the USA to replace the loss. Putin loses his marbles over this and decides to burn it all down, starting WWIII. The end.

@godinminaar9024 You are talking about two nations with over a billion mouths to feed each and a lack of markets to share equally. Not to mention the fact that a USA cut off from China by any means would reindustrialize fast and become a royal pain the ass for China in terms of trade. The whole point of open trade with China was to stop that from happening again.
