  1.  @cliveklg7739  It cannot be enforced because there are CFRs that contradict the complaints. Don't whine about the flight being delayed, because if the excuse is based on safety even a smidge....the complaint is invalid. Flight delayed? Weather. Too bad. Bag didn't arrive on your flight? Weight and balance, safety priority. Eat it. Buttigieg can make all the claims he wants, but there is no way to fight a safety issue.

  2. If you are an airline pilot, then you should know that most of the delays are beyond the control of the airline. Some of the problems are created by lousy contracts that the union knuckled the executives into signing.

  4. @madreese69 Fuel costs are not decided or mitigated by CEOs. Go and read the USCFRs and learn how things work.

  5. How do you define a screw up? If you whine about a delayed flight, and the feds lean on the airline to state the reason why the flight was late and the airline digs up the reason and it is safety related...your whining was all for naught, because once safety is invoked your complaint is meaningless. They can point to federal law that dictates how to do things, all you can point to is your mouth.
