  1. Business owners left because the tax went up and they kept getting robbed by the kids of the other taxpayers. So they bolted. In order to maintain the budget like before they left, the city has to increase taxes on the schmucks who stayed behind. Now they are whining, but they will vote back into office the clowns who set off the cycle in the first place. Democrat Chicago is an ouroboros.
