I always believed in the philosophy instilled in me by my parents! 'Put your head down, work hard, don't complain and help others and they'll help you!'. The reality I've experienced is that you are not appreciated no matter how hard you work! The harder a worker you are, the more you're expected to pick up the slack for everyone else while they swan around doing sweet f*ck all!! You get no extra pay, just more responsibility! Oh and what really got me is that the people who were diligent and obliging workers that never complained just got used and abused!! The people who whined and complained got away with it and their demands met?!🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ it's such an unfair system and everything you've been taught is a complete lie!

@UltimateGattai I hear you man!! I'm a Gen-Z so always assumed I was being weak and needed to toughen up!! Well I can tell you that you don't get any reward unless you moan, complain and refuse to go the extra mile! Something I wasn't brought up to believe!! I was shocked by how much extra responsibility was dumped on me because I actually listened to my manager and didn't bitch and cry!!😂😂😂 she made me do loads of extra jobs I was either unqualified or not paid to do and when I called her out stating "how come nobody else has to do this?" She said "because you're the only one who listens to me!" I was like "yeah but you're asking me to do all these extra things that you'd never ask the others to do!!??"🙈🙈🤣🤣 she also made me clock out for toilet breaks until I simply refused! Nothing she could do about it! I knew my rights! I simply stated that "my toilet breaks are my right! And despite all that, you allow people to go for 15 minute cigarette breaks and no mention of them having to clock out!!??"

@TheDragonofRevelation absolutely!! They don't care about you! They want to maximise profits while paying out as a little as possible! Therefore, they push employees to the absolute limit rather than hire someone extra to help out!
