As has been stated by former prosecutors appearing on MSNBC, the act of threatening any corporate entity in retaliation for cooperating with a lawful subpoena is a violation of United States federal law. Thus, both Taylor-Greene and McCarthy, through their mobster-like threats, are prosecutable for the statements in question. Their statements amount to intimidation, an act both illegal and morally reprehensible-- particularly when committed by a congressperson.
