This sounds really hard. I have no military experience, but I know how becoming a manager can change your relationships with your coworkers. I have alot of work ethic personally, so I always try to work with my team rather than over them, and have found that will earn you more respect from people rather than treating them as if they are beneath you. I just don't treat people like suboridinates unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary. You catch more flies with honey than vinager. That being said, sometimes you gotta deal with a troublemaker or someone who won't just do the job. It is what it is. This is a really interesting channel man, I think you have an interesting perspective as a soldier and more people should understand this stuff. Thank you for your service, we need our veterans and we gotta take care of our guys. Ya'll are the ones who actually put the work in to keep this country safe, not some politician. I hope others can see and understand that as well. Best wishes.
