I mean, if you use a vpn service there is an argument to be made that the vpn provider is a privacy factor, but alot of people smarter than me can create their own vpn and if you aren't doing anything horrible, vpn service providers might actually say no to the authorities unless there is a serious security risk, especially if they aren't an American company. Idk though, I am just a dumb hillbilly.
