My father was a Fireman and his partner was killed in a building fire, there is nothing more moving than seeing examples of self sacrifice as far as I’m concerned, it is the very fabric of what this country represents. Once a year I watch the Penlee lifeboat film to remind myself of what Englishmen will put on the line for others.
