  1. Spotted Hyenas are basically the trolls of the African Savannah. I dont know why, but seeing their interactions with predators other the lions, especially african wild dogs, is always fascinating.

  2. Wild Dogs aren't stupid enough to confuse hyenas with their own pack members. Most likely, it was following the pack for a free meal. Likely an exiled male.

  13. I don't think they were that scared of the hyena. They were just moving along, and stopped when they sensed a threat was near (the lionesses).
