@jeffreywoodin8549 Sounds like you're defending Apple and thunk they should've kept the old charging cables. Also even US federal government are over-regulating bureaucrats as well, not just EU.

Nothing new, "the standard" of USB cable always been a thing last few decades. When Micro-USB was developed, they became a standard in EU. I'm now glad that Apple finally uses USB-C, just like all new smartphone and video game consoles.

@Marc_Fuchs_1985 Well I live in Europe, I'm glad that Apple finally ditched their own charging cables they used in the past. I wouldn't care at all if Apple keeps lightning cable for US market sine I don't live there.

@sidsixseven I guess you're an American? Why does thi matter to you when you live in the US? I love how Americans think that everyone EU mandate also applies to US market. USB-C are faster at charging than other USB types, deal with it. I guess you also the person who defends Apple because you like the fact Apple had their own charging cables for years?
