My home has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, yet washing machine in the bathroom. I've seen apartments with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, and no washing machine. So NOT all European homes have washing machine in the kitchen or anywhere in the home.

  2.  @kharnynb  Exactly, most people have them in the bathroom. Only few have them in the kitchen, while other don't have room for a washing machine at all.
