@Blade-hf9po How is it more helpful to you when no entry signs ⛔ without "DO NOT ENTER" text literally have the same meaning? Also the rectangular ONE WAY signs were literally adopted from Europe, albeit with black background instead of blue.

@la-go-xy No really, red ⭕generally mean prohibition, obligation are blue 🔵 they're normally called mandatory signs.

@Grover91 Do you go around asking people to break up with their partner/spouse?

Not just the UK, all countries in Europe uses triangle shape warning signs, except Ireland they use diamond shapes for warning sign for some reason.
6
@karlbmiles Are you telling him to divorce his wife?
5
He should've known this, yield signs are an upside down triangle in the US as well. However US yield signs say "YIELD" for some reason. In Europe, yield signs are blank, except the UK.

@tripnick555 Priority Road and End of Priority Road are the only diamond shaped signs in continental Europe.

@gbormann71 Doesn't every modern car have adjustable steering columns?
2
@Vengir While yes most of signs you mentioned are the same, but symbols and font design vary from country to country.

@rmyikzelf5604 Blue squares are indication, I wouldn't call them advice.

Unlike Germany, many countries in Europe has variations of this sign indicating side road to the left or right. For some reason Germany even uses this sign at 8:08 for T-junction as well. In many counties in Europe, this sign at 8:08 would only the used a four-way junctions.
1
@Capt.-Nemo It's classed as warning sign category in some countries.
1
@PedroConejo1939 Yes give way is only an order to slow down, but stopping isn't required unless it's necessary, unlike stop signs where stoping is required.
1
@tripnick555 Just like how give way signs are the only upside down triangle signs.
1
@rmyikzelf5604 More specifically, warnings are red rimmed triangles while prohibition red rimmed circle.
1
@Liggliluff I some countries (such as Denmark and Finland), bus stops are either yellow or blue square. Yellow mean local buses may stop here, blue mean regional/long-distance buses may stop here.
1
@rmyikzelf5604 You may call them advice, but they're technically called "Special regulation" by Vienna Convention
1
@rmyikzelf5604 Yes special regulation aren't the same as mandatory, they're still indication. Not all 🟦are advice, only some are advice such as 🟦with a number. This sign ⬆ is an indication sign for one-way, not an advice.
