@inportugal2 You can't walk inside ANY car, doesn't matter it's American or not. Only vehicles you can stand up fully and walk inside are: Vans, buses, trains, ships and planes. Cars don't space to walk inside.

@kalasanty433 That doesn't mean all petrol stations in Europe doesn't have bollards. Some petrol stations outside your city probably does have bollard.

@Patrik6920 Well yes, but over the decade, some bollards were likely placed due to terrorist attacks. Stockholm had terrorist attacks in 2017 involving hijacking a truck.

@matsv201 Maybe those bollard you seen in Washington DC were manually retractable bollards, those removed using a key.
