Paris used to have stop signs, the last stop sign was removed in 2013 I believe.

@Yvolve Yes, crash even happen on roundabouts, but roundabouts still has less conflict point than intersections.

The tram was intentionally blocking the cyclist, the driver stopped for pedestrians at the crossing. Would you rather want the tram to ignoring and running over the pedestrian?

@miles5600 It's funny how people pretend that they've met everyone in their own country. Just because people drive, doesn't mean that everyone across Germany drive as well. Bicycles do exist in Germany, some people use bicycles and bicycle lanes do exist in Germany.

@esaedvik Maybe the US don't need for yield signs, they you all seem to prefer stop signs everywhere. Good thing that Europe uses the yield sign for most situations. Stop signs do exist in Europe, but they're generally placed at sites where visibility is severely restricted, or where a high crash rate has been noted. In some European countries, stop signs are placed at level crossings to mark the stop line. Another good thing that all-way stops are exceedingly rare in Europe

With people logic, you can yell at drivers and call them names, but drivers can't yell at pedestrian and call them names
