It's a 30 year old car, just accept the fact the quality is outdated . In fact that interior became outdated by 2000's. Interiors of any 1990's looked cheap, even back then. Just accept that it's 30 years old. All cars age, just like people age. When all cars, they qualities get worn out, scratched, beaten up, torn apart, etc. Just accept that. All cars get rain on during their lifecycle, all cars do need to get washed once a while. All cars have windshield wipers, it's not like a raindrop will melt a car.

I'm glad side reflectors aren't mandated outside North America. I prefer European models, they look cleaner than North American models. I just hate these yellow and red side reflectors. How the fuck can a car enthusiast like cars with them? They're look cheap and ugly, especially on European and Japanese cars. Why can all European brands stop selling their cars in North America until they remove the mandate of side reflectors?

  15. You're just assuming, I've seem some people having coffee cup in their cars. Cup holder does exist in Europe, usually only 3-4 cup holders in total. Americans are just obsessed with cup holders, Doug even said "cup holder enthusiasts" in one of his video. Americans are basically cup holder enthusiasts, they love their cup holders. I don't get why all American are cup holder enthusiasts, you don't need more than 4 cup holders.

  21. That's because infotainment screens aren't phones. Plus cars have phone button on the steering wheel and not every complains about that. So you people complain about people using phone while driving, yet you never complain about people using their phone in the back seats? So according to you, if you wife or daughter calls up while you're car, you just ignore them? If my car has connected to Bluetooth, I would pick up and call them while driving.

  22.  @jacobbrashears  The interior might not look "cheap" at the time, but all interiors looks cheap when they age. It's a 30 year old car, standards have changed a lot since then. Now cars have parking sensors, infotainment system with navigation, radio and other information, ABS, ESC, ambient lighting, automatic tailgate, lane-keeping and other assists, etc. It definitely outdated and interior looks cheap by modern standards.

Ford only discontinued it in North America because SUVs more popular, while hatchbacks and estates are still popular in Europe and Asia. Europeans did the right thing to heavily tax on SUVs, they burn through fuel quicker than smaller cars.

Some people do even put older horn sounds on modern cars and nobody complain about that. Some people even put a train horn in a Smart ForTwo. Hell, all cars in GTA V even share the same horn and yet nobody complain about that. Also cars like LSE 800 in Watch Dogs Legion have electronic version of 1920's horn, yet nobody complains about that.

  44. I think LED brake lights are better than incandescent or halogen brake light, they instantly light up and do not fade, giving indeed better reaction time. Also more visible even when the sun shining at the brake lights. Same deal with LED turn signals and LED reverse lights. People may complain about LED headlights, but people must admit LED use less electricity and fuel compared to incandescent or halogen. LED on cars are more common now than 20 years ago.

  48. If Lincoln brings this back, it would be another failure. Lincoln Blackwood didn't sold well, they had lot of trouble with the tonneau cover which fails constantly. Many Blackwood are probably scrapped too. Just accept that the Blackwood didn't sold well.

I think learning to drive a manual isn't mandatory in North America, because of this, most people would buy an automatic car. Driving tests aren't as strict as they're in Europe. While I'm not American, but I bet there's some Americans wish that US driving test were more stricter and mandatory manual test. I bet there's some Americans wish that more auto makers still offer manuals for US market, they probably think it's unfair that manuals are still offered in Europe.
