@Lord Walker Car manufacturers don't want take any risks anymore because they know that people wouldn't buy such vehicles. So you want all car manufacturer go risk going bankrupt because people aren't gonna buy their weird vehicles? Not everyone is like Doug who likes weird vehicles. Nobody's going to make a pickup convertible anymore because they know people aren't gonna buy them. You also need to accept that other people exist as well.

@DragonKnightX12 But Jeep Gladiator technically isn't a true convertible, if Ford makes a Bronco pickup, it still wouldn't be a convertible. For me, a convertible means it has a folding or retractable roof. Jeep Gladiator has a detachable hardtop like the Wrangler, that's not even a convertible. Ford Bronco also has a detachable hardtop, not a convertibles. Seems like you people don't tell the difference between a detachable hardtop and a convertible. By your logic, do you also call a Pontiac Firdbird with a T-top a convertible?

@XMarkxyz Suspended headrest would still likely injury people. A headrest attached to the seat would less likely injury people as suspended headrest would swing around. Have you every felt worry driving under a suspended traffic light during high winds? Suspended traffic lights in USA are held by a single wire and could fall on your windshield, injuring you.
