@Williestyle-RobotechxMacross-x I love how some people are defending these huge-ass 5mph bumpers on older cars, they made cars look uglier compared to international models. I don't get how these ugly 5mph bumpers are safer? They make cars heavier and these 5mph bumpers aren't really safer, they're move made to be ugly. US always been stuck with dumb regulations, I'm glad these huge-ass bumpers were never required by law in Europe, same with sealed beams. US never allowed square headlamps until 1980's, they were stuck with those outdated circular sealed beams headlamp from 1940 to 1982. Meanwhile European Union allowed directional headlamps in 1950's, which were outlawed in US. That's also why US government ruined the Citroën DS and SM.
