Why do people complain about pickups truck based on crossovers, yet none of you complain about that most pickup trucks are based on SUVs?

@snfriedm Crossovers are still SUVs, just like liftbacks are still hatchbacks.

@erichschmidt8226 I swear you're wishing death on Doug, just like all people on the comment do. I wish Doug would disable comments on all of his videos, because every time people "I hate Doug" it means they're wishing death on him for not researching. So if someone didn't do research and saying something false, you hate the person for making a mistake? If you have kids and they also don't do research, would you also hate your children? Would you people also hate you children for not being car enthusiasts?

Stop thinking the world doesn't only revolve around you. Pickup trucks and SUVs doesn't need to be body on frame, plus body on frame is probably consider unsafer and outdated. So by your the current Suzuki Jimny isn't an SUV because it uses ladder chassis? Ladder chassis is likely better of offroading the body on frame. There's no such thing called a pretender. You also think a 4x2 semis trucks are pretenders as well?
