@volvo09 I agree cars don't need 7 screen, but cars really don't need more than 1 or 2 screens (one for infotainment and/or two for gauge cluster. While I don't mind screens in cars, I actually agree that integrating climate controls inside a menu is stupid. Climate controls should be either fixed in place or series of physical buttons or dials

@volvo09 Do you also normally hate screens in houses?

@mohaleph That's very specific, everything can fail at anytime. How can people exactly know the electronic door popper would fail by 2033?

@GFkilla17 Just like all children born in 2010's and 2020's

@3UZFE It's also a sad thing that people still want to have kids during 2020's

@volvo09 Yeah, I mean integrating everything into a screen is cheaper and indeed cost cutting, nothing beats physical buttons and dials. Having a rear TV is cool, but would make more sense to buy that for your house. But honestly rear screens aren't really an issue compared to the front. Front screens are distracting, especially touchscreen that only requires to be touched. Some cars with touchscreen still have dials, making touching the touchscreen optional. Good thing some cars allow you to turn off the infotainment screen while driving, especially at night.

@frantikfueled How can you exactly know it won't be running by 2033? This car or any car nowadays can probably still run by 2030's or even 2040 if the owners are careful. There are still 1990's, 2000's and 2010's are on the road. Some even still own 1980's and 1970's cars in 2022.

@Disgruntled Simp Mod But I do get why people say that about any modern cars, especially with all these electronics. Older cars tend be survive longer and newer cars due to no electronic items, screens, etc. However it would still be miracle if any 2010's or 2020's car survives by 2030's or even 2040's

@Disgruntled Simp Mod I've never said they will survive, I just said it would be a miracle it they survive for a least 10 year. Yes, 20 years if too far fetched as I bet no cars from 2010's and 2020's wouldn't survive that long, especially luxury vehicles like BMW and Mercedes. Cars nowadays are built to last, unlike older cars.
