@Lasergun74 Also whenever you see a T-Roc parked or driving, I bet you grab a gun and murder the people who own it. If you think T-Roc is ugly and useless than don't buy it instead of wishing death on people for buying cars you hate. So I guess you'll murder your girlfriend for buying an SUV for herself? How would you feel if you want to murder you for owning a car they don't like?

@whynotagain3639 Ford Mondeo is currently only sold as a estate and a liftback in Europe and UK, while only sold as a saloon in North America. Ford Mondeo may look like a saloon, but it's technically a liftback, just like Skoda Octavia and Superb. Ford Mondeo has a rear wiper, unlike the North American version, Ford Fusion. A rear wiper wouldn't work on saloons, as the boot would collide with the wiper. If it's hinged on the roof (such as Ford Mondeo), it's a lift/hatchback. If it's hinged under the rear window (such as BMW 5-Series or Mercedes C-Class), it's a proper saloon. BMW 2- and 4-Series were never saloons, they're 2-door coupes.

@zareking Doug calling the standard V90 "weird" because it doesn't have ugly cladding around the wheel arches, that all American loves. Also Volvo don't sell the V90 without cladding in USA, they're special order only.

@whynotagain3639 Except most "saloons" aren't really saloons, most of them are hatchbacks that looks like saloons. Cars such as Skoda Octavia, Ford Mondeo are technically liftbacks since their boot lid are hinged on the roof.

@whynotagain3639 But I agree that "Four-door coupes" and "Grand Coupe" are just straight-up bollocks, I also wouldn't call a CLS a "coupe", it's a sedan to my eyes.

@whynotagain3639 You were right, the current Ford Mondeo is still offered as 4-door saloon, along with 5-door liftback and 5-door estate. While Ford Fusion was only sold as 4-door saloon in North America. Ford Mondeo liftback has a rear wiper, just like the estate version.

@philipptielmann US-market was just too late as always. Europe had the VW Arteon since 2017, but US didn't get did until 2019. Since 2020, Europe received the VW Arteon Shooting Break, which isn't sold in US at all. Clearly US hates estates.
