@Carterthielftw_ If all the 2023 vehicles would release in 2023 instead, would you still find it cringe? Also vehicle releasing for next year is nothing new, it's been like this for decades. Even your favorite Toyota Supra MkIV first released in 1992 as 1993 model.

@Lionsheartification I love how people say that they're not a fan of screen, yet still own TV and monitors at home, even own a smartphone.

@117johnpar "Screens really are tacky" Do you also think screen look tacky in houses? You know people have computer monitors and TV at home as well. I don't get why people think screens in new cars are tacky, but don't think screens in 2000's older cars are tacky. Plus smartphone, tablets, some monitors were touchscreen before implementing them into cars.

"ICE and manual will never die!" I bet you comment will age poorly by 2040's or 2050's.

@itcangetbetter "And now that they've put everything on those fingerprint covered screens, when the sun comes out, you're boned" I love how idiots complain about fingerprints on screens as if they think smartphone never get fingerprints. Every screen get fingerprints, even non-touchscreen get fingerprints. That's how reality works. If your infotainment screen gets fingerprints, go get a micro cloth and wipe it off, it's not really that FUCKING hard

@itcangetbetter Low standards is better than having high standards. Another reason why cars have screens is because it's 2020's, not 1970's. Some cars even had screens and digital gauges back in 1980's

@gilbert_agius "Nowadays, if you remove the emblem on the steering wheel, I guarantee that a good amount of people won’t be able to tell which interior belongs to which car" Even if the emblem was removed on the steering wheel, I can still be it's a Ford Mustang interior. If you able to tell which interior belongs to which car, then you're blind. Emblems and logos aren't only on the steering wheel, you see logos on the gauge screen as well. "Agreed, before this current era of putting a screen on every damn thing that exists, each car interior had unique style" New cars have screens because it's 2020's. Some cars have less screens, not all cars that touchscreen. If you're really want no screen, get an older car or a motorcycle.
