  1. LEDs streetlights sucks, they ruin the look and has no charm. LED streetlights give off ugly white or pale yellow light. They make street look unpleasing and unpleasant. They can turn blue/purple or even flicker like a strobe light when malfunction. I miss HPS streetlights.

I agree, while I understand why people change streetlights to LED, but I miss the time where majority of main roads had orange glow, while minor streets had blue glow or even yellow glow from fluorescent tubes. My neighborhood used to have streetlights on utility poles on every street, but in 2016 they removed all the utility poles and replaced them with ugly yellow LED streetlight. ´While LED streetlights are indeed more efficient, but I swear that municipalities just put them in front of windows just to disturb the residence. That's why some of them have covers, so light doesn't travel through the windows. What I dislike about LED streetlights, you can see individual diodes, which also makes them unpleasing and ugly. If LED streetlights had translucent cover/lens, they would be less blinding for pedestrians and drivers. In fact I think all LED streetlights should have translucent cover/lens rather than transparent.
