Not to mention, US outlets are likely more dangerous than the UK or even European counterparts. The contact points of the US outlets are much closer to the plastic cover. Also the US plugs are asymmetrical, meaning they must be plugged in a certain way. In my country all plugs with two pins are circular, meaning they can be plugged in upside down as well.

@BadgersInTheAttic I believe outlets and sockets in Denmark is standard across whole Scandinavia. I also like that all outlets have 220v - 240v.
