  1. Yeah while LED are more efficient, nothing beats the good old incandescent and fluorescent lamps on streetlight. I miss the time where all streetlamps near me had incandescent illuminated orange or blue, while some streetlamps were also fluorescent tubes that illuminated yellow. These streetlamps were on utility poles as well, they unfortunately removed the utility poles and replaced with LED streetlamps in 2017. I'm NOT a driver, but I despise LED streetlamps.

  3. Not to mention LED streetlights are ugly. I prefer the HPS and mercury vapor lighting. Replacing them with LED also means less streetlights, making the streets bit darker.

  4. But I'm sure the white LEDs are ugly and makes the streets unpleasing. I prefer the orange and blue incandescent.
