  8.  @sharonhodge5500  I understand that. Whenever I saw Robin Williams in a show or movie he always seemed so happy. Even when I saw him on the news he seemed happy. As someone who has also struggled with depression, I have pretended to be happy to put my friends or family at ease. I hope he is now at peace as well

  9.  @robertkitson3159  amen. Last year, I had a really prolonged depressive episode because my father left my mom and I. I wanted to help people feel better by doing my best to help them, and lie and say I was doing alright rather than outright say I wasn’t ok. I had no wishes of suicide or self harm, because I knew it would only cause more harm than good, but in order to not risk it I began talking to a therapist and have now felt much better in recent months as a result. I still do feel down every now and then, but I try to remind myself what I am thankful for so I can keep moving forward. Robins death was one motivation to not resort to harming oneself for me, because I know my family would never be the same
