  1. “Do It For Her” is my favorite emotional moment from The Simpsons because it reminds me a lot of my mom. Before I was born, my mom had a well paying job as an architect and made really good money. But when she had me, she found out if she kept working at her job she wouldn’t spend a lot of time with me as I grew up, so she quit her job, went back to school, and got a teaching degree. I sometimes feel bad my mom had to give up so much just for me, but it makes me happy when she tells me it was all worth it to see me grow up.
