  1. Homer’s moms death reminded me of my grandma. She was in hospice the last few weeks of her life, and I visited her the week before she died. She was half awake and didn’t know I was there, but I told her I loved her and I hoped she wasn’t in pain. Seeing Homer trying to wake his mom up made me cry so much because it reminded me of how I wanted her to be awake so she would have heard what I said. RIP Grandma
