  1. Great video and definitely relevant for many people opening foreign bank accounts or purchasing real estate. Just like in America it is likely best to not put too much money into one account which you cannot afford to lose. With this approach it will help safeguard you from these type of issues regardless of the country. For example, this is one reason why I open foreign bank accounts in Russia (i.e. Sberbank and Raffeissen) just as a secondary measure but at the same time not depositing too many funds in those respective accounts. No matter the country there is not such thing as your funds being 100% in any bank whatsoever. In this situation perhaps it may help to keep several ounces of gold bars stashed away in various apartments around the world just in case you have issues at that said bank in that particular country. Gold will always have value in the future!
