  1. Great video topic and very important to look at the big picture of the residence situation. Paying lower state taxes still does not omit having to pay enormous federal taxes. Then again a guy of this height likely is not the type that would live in a different country and I would even argue is overall net pay would be higher remaining in USA then leaving even with huge tax bill. Being in the entertainment sector definitely changes certain dynamics from the beginning and location is likely important for these guys to gain contracts in the first place.

  2.  @nomadcapitalist  Yes I see your point, but in the case of Joe Rogan a guy of this status I still think in the grand scheme of things has more business opportunities staying in America. These are one of those exception situations that only would occur for 1 out 1,000 people, but then again that is my opinion. On the other hand you have worked with 9 figure individuals not sure any have been in the media spectrum and I recall you have a media background with radio so you understanding of this matter is for sure more dialed in then my own as I don't have any specific experience in this area. One thing is for certain this guy will never have to be worried about being broke again in his life, lol. One guy that would be interesting to analyze on your show is e entertainer Graham Stephan, being his approach very focuses on tax reduction on domestic level rather then international level. At times very difficult to watch that guy as he clearly overlooks international means to drastically reduce taxes, or perhaps his show is designed that way intentionally. Perhaps with Rogan Spotify deal, eventually he may receive a stake of company, similar to Nike with Michael Jordan and down the road this stake and/or licensing agreement could pay even a lot more then he currently looks to receive. It will be interesting to watch how this situation progresses and if the listener base of Spotify growns drastically with this addition.
