Very good video. I had started living abroad before I even watched Youtube and had heard the concept of a digital nomad or travel blogger, that was in 2012. I first lived in Chile as a student, worker for 2 years as a university student. Similar to yourself much of my interest in living abroad had to do with lifestyle and preference to live outside USA. It had very little to do with work, taxes, ect... and overtime realized I preferred to be outside the country, just did not like living in Chile after 2 years. From this experience and being back in USA I realized eastern Europe was a better fit for me with the type of person I was and after being in North eastern Europe (Russia, Estonia) for a 1.5 years know this part of the world is a better fit for me now but this first experience was so pivotal in choosing eastern Europe over South America. Looking back I am so glad I left South America and realize now just how impractical it would have been for me long term. So many people point out the nice weather of South America but overlook so many aspects of their society that are not very practical for a foreign person. Likewise, people will point out the climate system in Estonia and Karelian province of Russia (i.e. St. Petersburg) and I am like I will take this climate anyday along with all the other aspects of these places. It does not hurt either, I have a liking for blond and brunette Russian women lol, another story for another time. The key point for everyone to understand here is pick what is comfortable for you not anyone else, people are all different. Also, understand if you don't like a place within first few months of living in that country, it is unlikely to improve and will likely get worse over time. Have a nice weekend all!

Solid topic and a shame to see what has happened in South Africa, but that is a topic for a different video. One thing that I will say and this is a bit of a tangent and more directed to viewers here on this channel which I have brought up before. Small countries offer great benefits and often you can stay low key fairly easy which is good and bad. One major issue though if you are a younger single guy and you want to marry still or find some kind of long-term partner, often these really small countries are extremely difficult to find young quality women to even get out even on just a date let alone marriage, and often these females you will never hear back from again after one date. This is often the case I see where I live here in Estonia, great country to set-up a business but absolutely horrible for dating, and really a black sheep in this sense of the eastern european countries and is not at all like some of its neighbors (i.e. Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, ect...). At this point in Estonia or small developing countries like this one, as a foreign guy living here you will need SERIOUS flex if you want to win over a girl here, may require you to pull up in a lambo or Ferrari when you meet for a date otherwise you likely will not hear from her again after the date, similar to some western countries in this respect. This is simply a tradeoff of living in one of these types of countries, but if you do see yourself creating a very successful company in this country or growing a successful company, this downside may not be a big deal long-term. With money comes freedom and you would likely have more options outside the country for dating or simply to set-up alternative home bases like Andrew Henderson does on Nomad Capitalist. Have a nice Sunday to everyone and hustle hard!

Sounds like California lol! But this is also reflective of the demographic change going on in the USA, and there are so many other examples of this. Just think of one of the genres of most popular shows on TV, netflix, Youtube, these are prison shows. Why would prison shows be so popular now, I myself find some of these shows very interesting myself but shows how much the demographics are changing. I could never imagine this when my now passed away grandparents enjoying to watch prison shows, but prison culture is becoming a very common aspect of day to day society in USA. This is most likely due also to the extremely high incarceration rate of USA which seems to become more and more preysome as each year passes and more and more types of crimes are being invented. Also, the thug culture which is also very popular in larger cities. This is so sad to see in my opinion but is just the reality of the day and age that we live in now. Even when I lived in Russia, police seemed to be a bit less intrusive then in USA, which would shock people with the way people often think of Russia when they hear this word in America. 1984 is slowly becoming more and more of the reality for USA and many western countries that subscribe to the USA derived system. I really hope USA can change at this point but don't see this happening, take care Andrew!

There are some great folks from Estonia but for passport purposes would strongly urge people to avoid this country, unless you are marrying an Estonian and have many connections to the country. Estonia's hey days were during the 1990's and early 2000's but those days are gone and brighter pastures with more opportunities in countries like Belarus or Serbia. With that being said it is a pretty safe country, the feminism likely helps keep guys in check lol, and very hand's off in many ways. If you hated the mask mandates, even though it is was imposed upon people here, you could in many places get away with out wearing one especially in the predominantly Russian speaking parts of Tallinn, where I currently live. If the women here could respect men more, many problems overnight would be fixed and Estonia could reach its potential as a country, which is unlikely to happen in the short-term. How I ended up here is a long-story and was not exactly planned out lol, but if you are a guy looking for the "typical Eastern European experience", countries like Russia, Belarus, Russia, or Serbia may be better options. Anyhow is just a matter of personal preference at the end of the day and you desires!

Solid points you bring out here Andrew, but something you don't cover is the foundation of some of these issues. What particular groups are mostly responsible and support high taxes, I don't want to bother people too much here but by gender one group typically supports much more taxes and central government power then the other group. These are the core issues you likely don't mention in your channel as you don't want to disrupt the client base of your brand but which I will gladly mention here. Look at police forces for example worldwide and the increase overall in women that now comprise these police forces,in both the street work but also at the top making the calls for the police force as a whole or political leaders (politicians). You are very consistent about your ideas and areas that you support on your channel, and is even evidenced by the countries you promote. The tax issue for example though will continue to be an issue as long as women continue to increase their power in the government and their wealth continues to increase worldwide, just biological wiring here and yes there are exceptions to this rule but the exceptions don't set the norms of a society. Tax savings are a huge component of your company and I have been holding back this idea amongst other ideas but feel that this should be mentioned here with the topic of your video focused on this area. Also, I understand the importance of taking action rather then questioning all the norms and standards being imposed on a society, which is where you come into play but as stated before with some of your topics getting to the heart of the issue is just as critical as how to mitigate the issue so people better understand the topic as a whole. One final thing I would also remind you, having as many wealthy people in a society would not be possible, as is today without the structure of society being comprised in the way it is, ie: internet becoming a central base for many sectors of the economy. This is one thing people have to consider, not that I support higher taxes because I don't but if the internet helps to 10X or 100X someones personal net worth and they have to pay x in personal taxes, that situation is still better then making a small fraction of that without the internet being in place and paying small taxes on that small income. Wealthy people have to keep this in mind as innovations are both good and bad in this sense and no matter what governments will figure out how to profit from this and steadily get a bigger slice for themselves. Also, remember there is no way a guy like Bill Gates would be in the wealth bracket he is for so many years without having governments on his side, and in many ways governments have helped him retain power and wealth just as much as himself if not more so when you think about this issue deeply. Have a nice weekend anyhow and look forward to some input here, a lot I mentioned in this long statement.

@amir5593 Good question Amir. Depends on how you define the next big thing. It all goes back to the person and what they seek. For example , I know countless people interested in southeast Asia but for me not really my thing. I would much prefer snowy mountains and forests then tropical rain forests. As Andrew says it goes back to the person at hand. Of course, look for countries that are not overly developed and that don't have crazy immigration policies. For instance I live in Estonia, a country that prides itself on an easy country to set-up a business and get residency, which is so far from the truth. In some ways I would argue their neighbors Russia actually make it easier for immigrants that come from non-EU countries. This leads into next point when looking at a country make sure that country has needs that you can fill if you plan on living long-term in that country. Each country has certain areas it lacks talent wise, and see if those are talents you can fill if you are not working remotely. Often the first country someone moves to will not be their final country. I first lived in Chile, then Argentina, then Russia, then Estonia, and will likely be back in Russia by the end of the year once again. It often takes trial and error before finding the right fit. Lastly, seek what you like and prefer not what other people tell you to like and remember it is different visiting a country then living long-term and being permanently settled their.
